Jett Packs, Healthy Food and Cleaning Day

I woke up this morning and told myself that i was going to go through all of Andrew's toy in the living room that are scattered everywhere and start eliminating some of the ones that he know longer plays with. Well you can just imagine what his reaction was when i told him my intentions, he really is his dads son, won't get rid of anything. He calmed down when i told him that i won't actually get rid of them, but they have to go in order for any new ones to come in. We settled on sorting threw them and sending them to my dads place, maybe his Aunt Lydia's and Christina's place for when we visit them he'll have something to play with. Well i managed to get some but not as much as i would have liked. Instead i ended up watching a movie with him, cooking, cleaning, and helping him make a jett pack. Well actually i didn't really help much with that one< I was in the Kitchen and making dinner and he came in with 2 empty coke bottle (which were his dads, we would never drink that crap, and it's something i won't even let his dad have but it was helping him with work) and they were tied together, he's a very inventive kid. He came in with them with some tape and asked me in i could tape it on his back, it was so cute. Then we had to save the planet from this bad alien boy creature that was stealing all the top secret jett packs from planet earth. He was able to get through the secret portal just in time to capture him and retrieve them all and have a hot dinner of chicken and home fries. Super Andrew saved the day!

And then i made a beautiful and yummy garden salad..

And then i made a smail plate of fruit for all 3 of us. Andrew and Don ate the orange, i had the peach and frozen grapes.. YUMMMMMMMMY. I LOVE summer!

Earlier this week i made some homemade red sauce (it's the ONLY way i can get veggies into Andrew), and boy did it ever turn out good. I like to have it on pasta but the boys like it on there chicken. I also put some on Andrews rice, he's not too fussy about noodles these days. It takes a lot of work but it's so worth it for his sake. I make it out of fresh tomatoes, peeled and cut, red, green and yellow peppers, also peeled and cut, sauteed red onions and garlic, olive oil and a about a tablespoon of sugar to cut down the acidity. Put it all in my crock pot and simmer it for a whole day. Afterwards i puree it. Viola the best red sauce in town. And really healthy.
